simple but BRILLIANT IDEA
hi there! there should be each day a senario set, in which the question explains to the reader what problems a business could have or is having (could be based on real life bizzes or just a totally made up senario) and the reader should suggest a solution or somehow contribute to the solution. then everyone that plays this game should vote on everyone elses suggestion (Yes or No), and receive points like you do for normal suggestions. this would get more people thinking about the practicality of running and solving a bizzes problems. you could effectively have a most preferred solution, in which there could be a larger unique reward. (Eg more points than usual). it also gets people more involoved in the site. Thankyou for your time. |

Remove ideas as soon as they aren't going anywhere
At teh moment ideas are remaining in the section even afetr they need to be. For example say someone is on stage three and they need 33 out of 39 votes to become a winner. This means they can only get 6 no's. As soon as they get 7 the idea might as well be removed because otherwise it's pointless. |

encourage community service
there could be a section like the businesses or simply put it under projects. Members would be encouraged and rewarded with points to do some community service and help out charities. This would be different to the community section where you currently offer a proposal. In these cases you'd actually get out there and help out your area and your charities |

Currently in each topic you are given totals of pending ideas, active ideas etc. Somewhere on the page there should be a total of all ideas submitted, all active ideas etc for all topics combined to provide members with a quick tally of the totals |

changable clock
you should be able to change the clock so it can be more personal. Like the colour and make it so you can change it to 12/24 hour time, seconds, date etc and you can remove them. |

The way it used to be was way better. you enter their name and email then the get sent an email. you could have it so that when you go to the second page of invitation you could chose whether to add them as a contact or not. |

Make hampers for special occasions
The making of hampers would be a simple business to start up & thus could be done by an individual or by a group. There is definitely a market for it if you can produce them & sell them for less than the commercial companies do e.g. Chrisco. It would be good for Christmas or other occasions such as Mothers' Day & Easter. |

Add a page that teaches people how to set goals
I think there was an article on goal-setting but I don't think that it was sufficient or of that great a standard and lacked the penchant necessary to make it a good piece of teaching. Thus if my3P made one up, then it would further help the cause of members looking to set goals that will be worthwhile setting & will help them in the future - whatever that future may be. |

Let members submit their own photos for the pictures next to the goals
By visualisng the goal they have in mind e.g. an A in their exam paper, they may be more driven to reach their goals as it is a method used by sports psychologists. Thus if we were able to submit relevant images to our goals, then we would be able to reach our goals more easily & would make the GOALS section better. |

Advertise small businesses
Create a booklet for your area and list small businesses who are interested in your method of marketing. You could have pictures included in there. Would work well for my3P as well. These booklets could be given out free at the information centres "the big i" in the towns for tourists. The businesses would pay for the advertising. |

fixing an "ideas topic" error
A lot of the time on the 'idea topics' page it says 1 or 2 or 3 ideas need my vote. Then i actually go into the section and there are no ideas to vote on. This needs looking at and fixing. |

increase the "help our businesses partners" section
if members are encouraged to offer ideas to those businesses supporting my3p it will encourage more new businesses to start getting involved. This will mean more sponsorship for my3p, more prizes for its members, and more ideas for the supporting businesses. |

Snail-Mail vouchers to be redeemed at local stores
My3P could snail-mail coded vouchers (which have dolar values) tht can be redeemed at stores local to the reward holder. This would mean:
Possibilty of internet fraud is eliminated.
Postage will be cheaper and faster.
We will have a wider range of rewards to choose from.
They wouldn't need to keep stock of rewards. |

Members From Other Countries
I am tired of seeing some rewards that are ONLY valid in New Zealand. There are other members of My3P that are from other countries, such as the United States, that should have some special prizes for them. Like gift cards to their stores, or movie tickets to their movie theaters. I just think that it is unfair that there are only prizes that are valid in New Zealand, even though that My3P is based in New Zealand. I know that My3P is still in its developmental stages, but in time, if they start having rewards on here that are valid in other countries, than I think that lots more people from other countries may register as My3P members. Then My3P could be a world-wide young biz company! But this is just something to think about. I know that if this idea does get accepted, it probably won't happen for awhile. I know that My3P is NZ based, but they should try to do somethings that would be of benefit to members from other countries. AND as for the shipping of the rewards, members could pay for shipping in either points or cash. |

Problem with Contact Points
Ive got over 10 contacts on my list and from some of them it says "62pts earned from xxxx" and when i check my point account it doesnt say ive earned 62pts from that person or anything, I think this problem needs to be fixed by either giving those points or removing that word next to that contact (s). |

Clarify what my3P are looking for in the "20 Printers to grow the community section"
A lot of members are getting the wrong idea of what this section is for. Many are writing about ideas that will help the wider community, the physical community out in the world. However the printers are supposed to be used to grow the MY3P community not to help kids in need or people in the desert or whatever. my3P needs to clarify that so that everone knows. |

Let my3P have a "board" of experienced users that meet maybe once a month to discuss issues
These users have to be dedicated and active on the site to ensure that they are in the know of what's going on. It also means that these members can try to make a difference in the areas of my3P that need improving. It also means that ideas can be discussed not just dismissed, like in the Voting Area, and can be deliberated so that the best way forward can be found, especially since the face-to-face contact will not be as dismissive as typing on the screen - people will be more willing to listen and explore the ideas. It would also be a good way for some members to get to meet other members. |

Gourmet Sausage Sizzle
Sausage sizzles and BBQs are part of the Kiwi tradition. $1 sausage sizzles at schools and as fundraisers are quite common. However if you were to "jazz" the sausage sizzle up a bit by using maybe European or Asian flavours, people may be willing to pay more than if they were buying an ordinary sausage with tomato sauce. e.g. Chorizo sausage with a napoletana sauce. Would be an exciting difference. |

Acquire banks as sponsors for my3P
If my3P acquired banks like ASB and BNZ, members could have an account opened up with these sponsor banks. Instead of having rewards, these banks could add money to the members' accounts in relation to the points they earn.e.g. 100 points = NZ$1:00. By doing this, the banks are encouraging young New Zealanders to save and thus members are more likely to save their money with these banks as they already have an account with them. That means there would be advantages for everyone; the banks (ensured customer base made up of my3P members), my3P (more sponsors) and the members (monetary rewards). |

When you check your ideas on "My Ideas", show how many "Yes" votes you have
It currently shows you how many votes you have and has the percentage. However if you were shown how many "Yes" votes you have then it would be easy to check on whether your idea is going to progress a stage or not. Would be helpful for ideas with many votes already (25+). This way you would not need to count the number of "Yes" votes. |

Updated= Give points too emembers of My3P when it is their birthday!!!
When we filled out the sign up sheet we filled out our birthdays. My3P should then give us a birthday present in the form of points when it is our birthday. This cannot be taken advantage of as if you lie about your birthday you are still only going to get one lot of points a year. |

If your idea progresses stages with a 100% yes result, you should be able to get more points
When you get 3 yes votes to get your idea to stage 1 you should get 1 point. When you get 10 yes votes that gets your idea to Stage 2, then you should get 10 points. When your idea progresses with 100% yes votes, then you should get 100 points. If it so happens to progress to "Winner Ideas" with 100% yes votes, then you should get something like 300-500 extra points. |

There should be a seperate page with a calender that has the dates on and my3p sets events on it and we can set our own events on it like birthdays, etc. if there s something on your calender and it is the day that it is set to it shows up under the clock. there could be a title saying "Whats happening today" then the set event after it. |

My3P should allow its members who want too, too be able to nominate more than one charity for some of their points to go too. We should be able to have as many charities as we wnat. ie; the points can be deducted as normal but like if you have 4 charities nominated you lose 4 points out of 10. |

'Screw this job!'
The game is called 'Screw this job' where you are a character in the work force, depressed, single and poor. You start off in the game as a low socio economic character, with a few points or $$$ in your back pocket. The way out is to take risks and start your own business, becoming happier, sexier and richer depending on the success of your business. This game will be good as it will give my3p users the chance to begin a business with no risk apart from their pride and possibly a few points and their success online may boost thier confidence in the real world. The game will not include other users from my3p, as everybody who begins a game will be able to have a fair chance as anyone else as the surroundings and life around your character will be the same. Instead you will be awarded points on how many customers you recieve and this will depend on how well you market the product, how well you sell the product and how well your product satisfy's your target/clients, etc. |

We could start a candlemaking business template. The Start-up doesn't cost very much, and lots of people are looking to buy homemade candles! You DO need an though when you are making the candles, the candle wax gets VERY hot (about 200-350 degrees), and wax doesn't boil, so it doesn't look as hot as it really is. Have surveys that are emailed to members. The members could print out (or email) these surveys and give them to the public. Once the surveys are filled out, they collect them and send the results to my3P. That way other people not involved with my3P would become interested and my3P will get feedback on what others think of a site like this and whether it may be useful to them. Everytime a member logs on, 3 ideas they have not voted on should come up on the dashboard
They should be stage 2 or 3 ideas that have been around for a while that these members have not voted on. Maybe more pending ideas now that the Voting Area has been re-organised. If they have voted on all the ideas then they should receive pending ideas when they log on. A similar system was in existence when I first joined but it did not promote voting on Stage 2 or 3 ideas. |

Sometimes the feedback given, particularly negative feedback, is quite unclear on what it is trying to convey. Therefore if members are allowed to reply to each other in a controlled environment, misunderstanding related to ideas will be ironed out smoothly. |

In the "GOALS" section, add how we are going to reach those outcome goals
At the moment we are only able to write what we want to get but not how we are going to get them. Outcome goals are good e.g. want to buy a car that costs $3000 but we need to set process goals, e.g. buy saving $150 a week from work pay, that will help us get there. Process goals are just as important if we want to attain our ultimate goal. If we added this to our outcome goal, then we could get points for every process goal we complete & then a point for our outcome goal as well. Thus, by adding process goals, our outcome goals will be achieved more often as we will know how we are going to achieve them. The majority of goals/ideas that people think of can be very personal and selfish. 3P's main focus is to be invovled in the circle of life, giving back to the community. I think offering more points to goals/ideas that are aimed at helping the community is aligned with the 3P vision. |

Helping special needs people
We could go and help those in needs such as those who are disabled. Its good to visit them or to help them run some errands. We could set up a section and post any special needs peoples' wants and requirements so that we can all try to help them. Then the reward could be in points. |

Delete Duplicated Ideas
I have been looking through the IdeaFunL, and I have noticed quite a few idea duplicates. Both either by the same person, or different people that are entering the same idea. Such as the idea for business games, a forum, adding ideas easier, .etc. I am just really tired of voting yes or no for the same things a number of times, aren't you? And if someone has another idea to add on to an idea that is already in the IdeaFunL, they should add a comment with the idea related to it. My3P should also delete all duplicated ideas, as well, so that members don't have to vote for the same ideas a number of times. If you don't vote for this idea, then I guess your saying that you like to vote for ideas multiple times, and you like people spamming the IdeaFunL, just to get points. You can see who has copied who by basically going through the lists of ideas, and the first ideas for the duplicated ideas (The idea that is closer to the bottom of the list than the others) will be considered the "official" idea. I don't believe that people should submit their ideas, when it's already listed by someone else, when they think it's good. They should just comment on the "official" idea and add some suggestions to make the idea even better. I just don't like the fact that when some members duplicate an idea, they get points for someone else's idea. |

ADVERTISE CHARITIES
my3p can put up advertisments on their webpages for charities where members and guests can click them to go to the corrosponding charity.
as well as this, my3p can make a page where members and guests to the site can get info on different charities and how they can help. for example, a little box on the side of the page (like the size of 'site announcements') and advertise a charity, a new one each week. when people click on this ad they are directed to a page with info about what that charity does and how they can help eg volunteering, contacts at the charity, their vision for the charity as well as the community etc etc.
this would mean that not only do charitites get publicity, but also they get their info out their to keen young people who want to help.
ps you guys and your feedback is really awesome. so is my3p :) |

We should be able to make our own profiles for everyone else to see so that we can get to know each other a bit better, but with not enough options to let out too much info (ie, where we live).

give vouchers instead of prizes
You could do electronic vouchers so you just email but that would get complicated. So i think just posting a voucher is better. Then just give it to the retailer and they give us $20 / $50 / $200 worth of stuff, depending on the value of the voucher.
And if what we want is more then the voucher we have we just pay the rest in cash which the retailer would like. And maybe while people are their with their voucher - they see othe stuff they want so they spend more. |

Every has their own projects they want to help. The idea is get people giving back in some way. It does not really matter which charity. And we could set up a system so that the charity comes to our site to verify that they are really doing it.
And if the person does not want to keep the points they get for volunteering - they could give them to the charity itself maybe. |

We are able to buy rewards that support charities.
We are able to buy rewards that support charities. At the body shop you can spend $30 to adopt a whale and you get a soft toy and adoption certificate and they give you updates on how its going. They are available on the wwf site and my3p could buy these and we buy them as a reward. |

Print Function for modules
Teachers, parents, even students may want to print out their ideas, goals, votes, businesses, etc. for evidence of a hardcopy. Teachers may use it to assess students. Parents may want to post them around the house to remind each other. Students may want to see the work that they have done. Overall, I think its a small technicality that can give positive results to the online community. |

My3P should have a page for Business Teams, in which you can see if there are any My3P members in your state/county/province/city/country. If there are, you could post a Business Team Request, and My3P can e-mail all of the members that live in your state/county/province/city/country, and anyone that is interested in joining your Business Team can reply to the request! Examples of Business Teams:
Babysitting Teams, Car Washing Teams, .etc (You could even give your Business Teams a name!). For those of you who don't think it will be safe, you could have to e-mail your business team members through the My3P website, and you may not ask for anyone's e-mail address or personal info, and before you can send a Business Team Request, or e-mail a member of your business team through the website, My3P can approve the message, to make sure it's appropriate. |

NEW VERSION - Have School compete for the printer so that its fair to big and small schools
Instead of it being who has the most students (which would be easier for bigger schools than for small schools) it could be for which school has the highest percentage of their students. So a school with only 100 students who got 50 to join would do better then a school with 2000 students who got 500 to join.
But - i think there should be a GRAND PRIZE - bigger then a printer for the top school. Maybe a big screen projector or some new notebooks or something else that HP makes. |

an online bank for points
i think their should be a ebank on the site were you can store points in to gain interest but if you take them out you loose a percentage of it and interest gained. and you can't spend the banked points. |

have a "suggested things to do" on the site
so that people know what they should be doing. I reckon lots of people find the site confusing and dont know what they are supposed to do. A "to do list" would make it easier. |
