CLOSED: How can we best use 20 HP Photo Printers to grow the community? THIS TOPIC IS NOW CLOSED. Thanks for all your ideas.
HP would like to see our community grow so that they can start to help us more. To help us grow, they have given us 20 HP Photosmart 375 photo printers. Tell us how you think we can use them to grow the community and if your idea is chosen - you get to keep one of the printers for yourself. Plus of course you get all the points for having a winner idea.

Details: Have the printers distributed to every major community centre! Encourage the public to use it for knowledge about how printers work, business, flyers etc. Have seminars on how to use it. Have people write down what they're printing for and that in itself could be a survey!
Details: charities can print out flyers to send out to housholds
Details: We could use the printers to make colorful posters or something (using recycled paper), and have something like a Tree Planting Ceremony, a Recycling Day, a Food Drive, Pet Day, .etc like once every 1 or 2 months. You know, to get your community into action, everyone helps everyone else in some sort of way, or what about a Neighbor Day, or Recreation Day? You could host blockparties (neighborhood parties) and get your neighbors to be more united, you know? I'm not talking about just New Zealand, I'm talking about the communities in which all of the My3P members are from, this Community Restoration would work for all sorts of communities- Urban, Suburban, Rural, .etc. After you finish all of this, you could auction off or sell the printers to people, and use the money to help your community even more. I think that everyone should help out in there communities in one way or another, if we do, then are communities will be closer together. Please share your thoughts about this idea, and share some suggestions that can be added on to this idea. You could store the printers in your house, and maybe even your friends' houses, and you can do the printing in your homes.
Details: Groups of people such as charity organisations and schools can take photos of themselves doing something to help the community, such as tree planting, painting murals, helping other people etc. The photos can be sent to My3P and the winning ones can be printed and framed. The winning groups gets to keep a printer for their school/organisation. It will encourage groups or people, especially school-aged children to get out into the community and help others. In return they can win a reward, as well as having the reward of knowing they have made a difference!
Details: There are plenty of schools around New Zealand who could use the printers for a better purpose. Donate them to these schools. What better way to grow the community?
