Ever seen something and say "I thought about that before! Why didn't I do anything about it??" Well the IDEAfunL helps you remember those ideas and it can also get other users to tell you what they think!
The IDEAfunL is an idea tool that allows you to post your ideas about my3P (or anything at all!) and get awesome feedback about it from your peers! The IDEAfunL hopes to make you think about things that you might not have thought about when it comes to your idea - and it aims to give you a better chance of making that idea a reality!
Voting on an idea earns you points. It will also allow you to help others improve on their idea by providing feedback about them.
First, you will need to choose an idea to vote on. You can do this by searching (link to Searching Ideas) a specific type of ideas.
Adding an idea earns you points. Before adding an idea, you would need to vote on 3 pending ideas. Pending ideas are ideas that have not made it yet to Stage 1 and require at least 2 YES votes out of 3 votes - that's why we need you to vote on them to quickly pass them through to Stage 1!
Throughout the IDEAfunL you might notice a search function at the top of each section. You can search for a particular type of idea or a specific idea that you might recall. You can choose a Category or Stage to browse, or search using any keywords. A combination of all 3 search fields can also be used.
Some ideas are fresh and you think it may need some work before it is shown to the members. Creating a draft idea allows you to save and continue to work on your ideas. Then, when you are ready, you can easily submit your idea! (after voting on the 3 new ideas).
Once you think your idea is ready, at its listing on the MY IDEAS section, click on the "SUBMIT" link next to it. This would take you to the NEW IDEAS section where you have to vote on 3 new ideas before submitting your own idea.
Note: Your idea will already be pre-entered on this page, so all you need to do is click on the "Cast your votes and add your idea" button to submit your votes and new idea!
Re-submitting Your Returned Ideas
If you have an idea returned to you "for clarification" it means you need to re-think it, take into consideration the feedback you were given and then resubmit it. To resubmit an idea - we suggest you copy and paste the whole thing into a new idea - then start to edit it and when you are happy with it - submit it again.
