my Businesses

BUSINESS TEMPLATES

The Business Templates section lists the available business ideas that you can take and transform into a successful business! Each business template will:

• List what you need to start this business,
• Explain how to run the business,
• Tell you how to get customers,
• List the safety facts that you need to know,
• Give you some sample documents that you will need to run and promote the business,
• Also inform you about the business' benefits to the society and the environment. It is important that you understand these points as they are important factors for a successful business.

Getting a Business!

• At the Business Template portion of the MAKE MONEY section, click the button "START THIS BUSINESS!" of the chosen business template
  

my BUSINESSES

my Businesses lists all the businesses you have started. It will allow you to manage the jobs you have received for each business.

Managing Your Business

• Adding a Job
• At my Businesses, click on the ADD JOB button of the appropriate business to get started.
• Using the drop-down box, select the client that has hired you. If he/she is not listed on the list, click on the "Add New Client" link. This will take you to the Adding New Contacts page.
• Fill in the remainder details about the job. Make sure that your description and details are clear and understandable for future reference. If you were to visit this job two months later, would you still understand the details written about it?

• Editing a Job  
• Click on the business where your job is located to reveal a list of jobs you have performed for that business.
• Click on the  button at the end of the job you want to edit. This will open the details of the particular job you want to edit.
• Once you have made all the necessary changes, click on the UPDATE NOW! button to save the changes

Editing a Business or Business Status

• At myBusinesses, click on the button at the end of the business you want to edit. This will open the details of the particular job you want to edit.
• To stop this business, change the Business Status to "Inactive"
• Once you have made all the necessary changes, click on the UPDATE NOW! button to save the changes
• To make an business active again:
• Click on the "Show" link to reveal all businesses (active and inactive)
• Click on the button at the end of the business listing
• Change the Business Status to "Active"
• This business will now be categorized as an active business
