Step 1 on the client ladder is a 'Suspect'. A suspect is a person who YOU think might have a need for your product or service but they have not actually said so themselves yet.
Step 2 is a 'Prospect'. A prospect is a person who knows about your product or service and has in some way said they might be interested at some point but have not done any business with you yet.
Step 3 is a 'Customer'. A customer is a person who you have done business with, only ONCE, so far.
Step 4 is a 'Client'. A client is a person who you have done business with more than once, and therefore they are more likely to keep doing business with you.
Step 5 is an 'Advocate'. An advocate is a client who gets others to come to your business. At this step, they really start helping you make good money.
Step 6 is for your 'Raving Fans'. Raving Fans are people who love you & your business so much, they can't stop telling everyone they know about it and they get you heaps of people to put onto your client ladder.
