Have a 'my3p day'
As we know, my3p is about both 'profiting people and the planet'. In this I am suggesting the event of an 'my3p day'. A day my3p users come together and perform a group community service. Whether it be gathering litter in a big my3p group or planting trees in a my3p group. My3p is about helping the community as well as helping ourselves and the event of a 'my3p day' would be a great way to promote this. The media would be invited and possible television and newspaper coverage would be a great way to advertise and promote my3p, encouraging more and more people to join, therefore growing both the community of my3p and the community as a whole. It wouldn't be costly, maybe a banner or two, flags, T-shirts and the required equipment to do the task at hand. The 'my3p day' could be held in all the major cities around New Zealand. I'm sure the members of my3p are passionate and enthuasiastic individuals willing to help the community around them, all it means is giving up just a slice of their time. |

Have a page on the site dedicated to showing pictures and presenting articles on the Third World
This would help us all to see the devastating effects that poverty, hunger & disease are having on those less fortunate than ourselves. Pictures as many say "tell a thousand words" & will create more of an impact whilst the articles would give us more information & thus increase our awareness of what is going on elsewhere in the world. Once we are aware & informed, then we will be able to make a bigger difference. Hence my3P should start by informing people, starting with the users of the site. |

a few member of the month awards for doing things like points earned ECt
Every month there should be member of the month awards for things like luckiest member ,( won the most prizes) Most points earned, most logons. longest logged in , Positive Member(voted yes on ideas the most) etc etc etc...
Winners are awarded with points and a certificate sent to them. |

Sell healthy food at schools - nutritional salads & fibre bars etc
At the moment, school tuckshops often sell unhealthy, high fat content & high sugar content foods & that is the only for students when they are at schools. Thus if there was a healthy competition to the pies & sugar, teachers & other staff would also support the idea & promote it widely in the school. It would also get the support of the Ministry of Health as they are going to spend $76 million on combating obesity. |

Have a stall at School Galas to promote my3P
At these galas, the stalls could have free stickers & badges & other stuff like that. Thus people could also be given fliers with information on the website. It could be run by some members of the my3P community who could be in charge of the schools (primary, intermediate & secondary) in their area. Points could also be given for managing these booths at the galas. |
