My3P should have something like a Charity Week once every 1 or 2 months. Members can choose the charity that they would like to support, but it must be a different charity for every Charity Week. Members and schools can donate some of their points (turned into cash) and their cash to the charities. My3P can then have some contests, like the School/Member that donates the most money/points to the charity can receive a reward, points, or cash. Charity Week could also mean donating to charities, helping, and being kind to people outside of My3P as well. This idea is just beginning to take root, so if you have any helpful comments, please say so, so that I can make this idea even better! Thanks! |

A range of charities that cover other aspects!
I myself have both Diabetes Type 1, and also Coeliacs Disease and I think that it would be great if us people could supporty Youth Diabetes, or Coeliac Society as then I would feel as though I could help out some of those people that have the same problems as myself. I also think that these causes are just as serious as some of the other charities that we can already choose from! |

Advertising and links
Community's could advertise the web sites of the charities with a small discription of what the charity does and here at My3p they could have a page which has information about the charty with a button " charity URL" at the end of each of the charity discriptions taking them to their site. |

My3p could give projects like getting people to get involved with a charity and you get a certain amount of points depending on the number of people you convinced to join a charity. |

matching donations point for point
currently my3p gives one point in every 10 to charites. Members should have the option of increasing this to 2 or 3 or more but these points would come out of their own points balances. However, my3p could match every one of these donations to encourage members to donate and so that charities benefit. |

offering ideas on the problems charities deal with
the helping charities section should be extended - my3p should set up idea sections on things the charities are trying to fix - the problems of child poverty, animal maltreatment, global warming, refugee problems and others. members could then offer suggestions towards fixing these issues and the charities could the benefit from these ideas |

encourage community service
there could be a section like the businesses or simply put it under projects. Members would be encouraged and rewarded with points to do some community service and help out charities. This would be different to the community section where you currently offer a proposal. In these cases you'd actually get out there and help out your area and your charities |

Allow users who want to, to nominate more than one charity.
My3P should allow its members who want too, too be able to nominate more than one charity for some of their points to go too. We should be able to have as many charities as we wnat. ie; the points can be deducted as normal but like if you have 4 charities nominated you lose 4 points out of 10. |

Helping special needs people
We could go and help those in needs such as those who are disabled. Its good to visit them or to help them run some errands. We could set up a section and post any special needs peoples' wants and requirements so that we can all try to help them. Then the reward could be in points. |

ADVERTISE CHARITIES
my3p can put up advertisments on their webpages for charities where members and guests can click them to go to the corrosponding charity.
as well as this, my3p can make a page where members and guests to the site can get info on different charities and how they can help. for example, a little box on the side of the page (like the size of 'site announcements') and advertise a charity, a new one each week. when people click on this ad they are directed to a page with info about what that charity does and how they can help eg volunteering, contacts at the charity, their vision for the charity as well as the community etc etc.
this would mean that not only do charitites get publicity, but also they get their info out their to keen young people who want to help.
ps you guys and your feedback is really awesome. so is my3p :) |

give members points to volunteer with a charity
Every has their own projects they want to help. The idea is get people giving back in some way. It does not really matter which charity. And we could set up a system so that the charity comes to our site to verify that they are really doing it.
And if the person does not want to keep the points they get for volunteering - they could give them to the charity itself maybe. |

We are able to buy rewards that support charities.
We are able to buy rewards that support charities. At the body shop you can spend $30 to adopt a whale and you get a soft toy and adoption certificate and they give you updates on how its going. They are available on the wwf site and my3p could buy these and we buy them as a reward. |
